Admission Process
ENROLLMENT
Please be sure to include these documents at the time of enrollment. Applications WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED if any of the documents are missing.
1. Original birth certificate
2. Proof of address under parent’s/ Guardian’s name (Utility bill, DWP, Gas Co. mortgage, property tax, federal or state mail)
3. Immunization (yellow) card
4. Transfer from Previous school
5. Physical – 1st grade only
6. Parent TB test – Kindergarten / Pre-K only
INSCRIPCION
Por favor asegúrese de incluir estos documentos en el momento de la inscripción. Solicitudes NO SERNAN ACEPTADAS si algún documento falta.
1. Acta de nacimiento original
2. Prueba de domicilio con el nombre de padres/guardianes (cuenta de luz DWP, gas, hipotecas, impuestos, correo del estado o federal)
3. Tarjeta amarilla de vacunas
4. Transfer de la escuela anterior
5. Examen físico- solo primer grado (grado 1)
6. Prueba reciente de TB de padres/adulto – solo kinder/pre-kinder
The school will give admissions preference to the following students in the following order:
1. Students in MCA attendance area.
2. Siblings of students currently enrolled, or wards of their parents
3. Students who reside in the Los Angeles Unified School District (to include LAUSD traveling students, if space is available)
4. Students living in California
La escuela les dará preferencia de admisión a los siguientes estudiantes en la siguiente orden.
1. Estudiantes que residen en el area de asistencia de Montague Charter Academy.
2. Hermanos/as de estudiantes actualmente matriculados en la escuela.
3. Estudiantes que residen en el Distrito Escolar de Los Angeles (para incluir estudiantes viajando en LAUSD, si espacio está disponible.)
4. Estudiantes viviendo en California
LOTTRY NOTICE:
As per EC Section 47605(d)(2), if the number of applicants exceeds enrollment capacity at the time of the application deadline, students will be admitted tot he school through a public random drawing (respecting the admissions priorities stated above.) Siblings of children whose names are drawn will automatically be given the next enrollment slot, in order to help keep families together.
NOTICIA de LOTERIA:
De acuerdo con EC Sección 47605(d)(2), si el número de solicitantes excede capacidad de mariculación al momento de la fecha limite de aplicaciones, estudiantes van a ser admitidos a la escuela através de un sorteo público (respectando las prioridades de admisión mencionadas). Hermanos/as de solicitantes automáticamente se le dará un epsacio de matriculación, en orden para mantener a familias juntas.
