Volunteer Opportunities for Parents
Montague Charter Academy for the Arts and Sciences welcomes parent/guardian volunteers. If you have a child in Pre-School, parents volunteer their time in classes. Kindergarten parents come to school daily to participate in a reading program called “Doing Words.” All parents are invited to volunteer their time at our annual Multicultural fiesta. Parents offer to operate booths, cook food, provide security, and work in the ticket booths. Throughout the year, teachers welcome parents into classrooms to volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering in your child’s class, please speak with your child’s teacher about the details. Many parents choose to donate their time on fieldtrips.
