Halloween Parade

Dear Parents,

This year Montague will be celebrating HALLOWEEN on Friday, OCTOBER 30, 2015. The annual Halloween Parade will be held on the playground at 9:00 a.m. Please make sure you arrive on time.  You do not want to miss the parade.  Students can wear their costumes to school.  They can bring a change of clothes to change into their uniform after the parade.  Students will be dismissed at our regular scheduled time at 2:35 p.m. C track students are welcome to come with their parents.

Parents are invited to attend our parade.  Costumes will be judged according to the funniest, scariest, original, creative, and other categories. We encourage students to be creative and make their costumes.  Prizes will be given to the winners by a panel of judges.  We will be selling water, juice, and donuts.

Parents, please note, we want all of our students to enjoy this school day.  ALL students must attend school for a regular school day!  If parents do not wish their children to participate in the parade, please send a note to your child’s teacher.

Weapons of any kind are not allowed as part of a costume, including toy swords, toy knives, toy guns, etc. We wish to make this a safe and fun filled afternoon. Parents are welcome to wear costumes also.  Students must wear appropriate shoes at all times.  If the costume requires special shoes, they may use them during the parade, but must change into appropriate shoes after the parade.

Estimados Padres,

Este año Montague celebrará HALLOWEEN el viernes 30 de OCTUBRE.  El Desfile de Halloween anual se   llevará a cabo en el patio de recreo a la 9:00 a.m. Asegurense de llegar a tiempo.  No van a querer perderse el desfile.  Los estudiantes pueden traer el disfraz puesto en la mañana.  Ellos deben traer un cambio de ropa para ponerse el uniforme después de el desfile.  Los estudiantes saldrán a la hora regular, a las 2:35 pm.  Los estudiantes de la secion C pueden venir con sus padres a acompañarnos.

Los padres están invitados a atender el desfile.  Los disfraces se premiarán según los más graciosos, espantosos, originales, creativos, y otras categorías.  Sujerimos que los estudiantes sean creativos y hagan sus propios disfraces.  El panel de jueces dará premios a los ganadores.  Estaremos vendiendo agua, jugo, y donas.

Padres, tomen nota, nosotros queremos que todos nuestros estudiantes gocen éste día. ¡Todos los estudiantes deberán asistir a un día regular!  Si ustedes los padres no desean que sus niños participen en el desfile, por favor envíe una nota al maestro(a) de su niño(a) haciéndole saber.

No se permite armas de ninguna clase como arte del disfraz incluyendo espadas de juguete, cuchillos de juguete, pistolas de juguete, etc.. Deseamos que ésta sea una tarde sana, y divertida. Los padres están invitados a usar disfraces de Halloween.  Los niños deben usar zapatos apropriados todo el dia.  Si el disfraz requiere zapatos especiales, los podrán usar durante el desfile, pero deben cambiarse a zapatos apropriados después del desfile.
